My favourite park in Manitoba. I’ve had many great memories here growing up. Close distance to Winnipeg makes it accessible for a large portion of Manitoba residents. The aspen trees are lovely. I enjoy the many bike and hiking trails throughout the park. The beaches are a great way to cool off on a hot summer day. The park provides many fire pits for you to use, and we’ve had a few hot dog roasts out there. The camp grounds are clean and quiet. Park staff are always ready to help. Overall, Birds Hill is a great natural respite from the noisy city, and I highly recommend it for locals and visitors to our province!

Nice enough park. Good swimming. Don't drown... The lifeguards are often chatting instead of watching the water - so watch your kids.

Love skiing Chickadee Trail. Wish it was groomed. Also wish there was better signage so that people would stop using it as a walking path.

provincial park just minutes outside Winnipeg. great way to escape from the city for a few hours or the weekend. you can go camping or for a bike ride, have a picnic or lay on the beach and take a dip. there's a nominal entry fee which includes parking.
